Welcome to my Frequently Asked Questions page. These are some commonly asked questions regarding my Party and Special Event Readings. If you have questions that I have not answered here please leave a note on my contact page with your question or call (253)320-0764.
Q: What do you do at Parties and Special Events?
A: I read Palms, Tarot cards, Dice, Faces and Energy at Parties and Special Events. If purchased, I read in my full "Fortune-Teller" costume. In a quiet room or area with a table and chairs your guest sits directly in front of me as I read them. A table is used as a platform for my tarot cards, dice and palm readings.
For large events, another option is my Stage-Show/Audience Performance, similar to a hypnotist/magician show, but packed full of fun audience participatory psychic stuff. This is the perfect option for cruises, casinos, any event with a large audience and stage. Both event options are an exciting way to entertain guests and everyone walks away mystified and wanting more.
Q: Do you read Tarot Cards, Palms, Astrology, Numerology?
A: Event readings are far different than my in-depth in-person readings which take place at my office and via Skype. At the office I don't use things like tarot cards, dice or read palms, but at parties and special events I do. Tarot readings, palm readings, dice readings, numerology and face readings provide an interactive way for your guests to play and explore at your event. However, I don't need any of these items to read someone, and at my office they are infrequently used.
Q: How do I secure my Event?
A: Call or fill out my contact form and get on the calendar ASAP. We can always change the day of your event if necessary, but getting your event booked before anyone else is important. Holiday Months are extremely busy, October, November and December book up extra fast. Ample notice ensures that your date and event time will be available. Events are booked on a first come, first serve basis. Whoever get's payment in first, that's who gets the date. Once your event is paid and you have received confirmation directly from me, your event is secure.
Q: What do you need to read my guests?
A: The less I know beforehand, the better. I don't need anything (not even a real name) to read a guest. Each reading is a unique and one-of-a-kind personalized experience. Some people may receive a palm or tarot reading, and with others I may not use anything at all.
Q: What do you need to provide the best readings at my event?
A: The area I'm working in needs to be as quiet as possible. At most venues and private residence's the host has an area set up with a table and chairs (away from music and crowds,) usually in a closed off room or area with a tent/canopy. If you're booking for full Stage Performance, be aware that this option requires a PA/sound system with wireless head-set microphone and a handheld cordless microphone. If you want me to set up sound I charge an additional $800.00 because I have to hire an audio engineer. If my voice needs to be raised at your event to read for guests, the event conditions are considered unsuitable. This situation results in my not being able to effectively do my work and the event is terminated without a refund.
Q: What about the "fortune-teller" costume?
A: If you'd like me to attend in my full "Fortune Teller" costume please select the "In Costume" option before checkout.
Q: If I have a special request can you accommodate?
A: I always do my best to accommodate special requests. I want your event to be the most special! As long as your request is reasonable, within my power, and legal, I am pleased to help. A well known vehicle company asked me to read at a 4 day event. The request from the client was to read 800 people inside a car. This was to promote their product and relevant to their goal for the event. Since this was a reasonable and relevant request I happily obliged.
Q: What should I tell my guests once I hire you?
A: Tell them you've hired "Raea Sunshine, Seattle's Hottest Psychic!" and provide them with a direct link to my website so they can learn more. They'll be excited! http://www.Psy-Chick.com
Q: How much do you charge for travel outside of WA?
A: Each hour of travel is billed as 30 minutes. If airfare is required, business class is an additional expense covered by the client.
Q: If lodging is necessary, who pays?
A: Lodging is covered by the client.
Q: Can I pay on the day of my event?
A: To secure your event, purchases must be made at the time of booking.
Q: Our company wants to hire you for an upcoming event. What do I need to know and what do you need from us?
A: Be sure to check that your event time and date are available. Full payment is necessary via my website to schedule. If extensive paperwork or email correspondence is required I may ask your company to pay additional processing fees. I need to know the set-up/structure of your event and whether you want a stage performance or one-on-one readings. I need to know about parking, lodging, and travel, if travel is necessary. Charges for travel apply if outside of King, Pierce, or Snohomish Counties, Washington State.
